      Fireworks!

Well, it is the third evening of lots of loud bangs worrying my little dog! Poor girl wants to go out but every time I open the door a loud bang sends her back in! She has to keep her legs crossed until later tonight again!

But since everyone seems to be short of money these days isn't daft that folk let their money go up in smoke by buying fireworks - why don't they just go to organised displays if they want to but let other folk have a quiet evening at home!

The vast majority of organised displays cost money to get into.

I do sympathise with your dog however things wont change unless the letting off of fireworks is made illegal apart from certain dates / times.

You should never have had a dog then, after all everyone knows about firework night and thats been going on a lot longer than your dog, you should think about these things before you get a dog.

      Re: Fireworks!

How about teaching your dog not to be scared of loud noises take your dog in the garden when fireworks are going off and reassure it thats it ok and nothing to be scared off, we got 2 rabbits, 1 cat, 1 dog and 1 bird, the rabbits live in the garden so there used to it and the dog and cat have been taught not to be such girly animals
