I stumbled across this nice little tutorial on how to upgrade your Pace Sky+HD HDD, and thought to myself where have I seen this before?

      Pace Sky HD HDD replacement

Then it dawned on me, ummm yes we have one identical, and I wrote it, as well as took all the photographs.

Re: What's the point in having copyright?

I once found a copy of a photo of one of my dogs (from my website) advertising doggie things on eBay.
I emailed the site owner advising him that I owned the copyright and he was to take it down immediately.
      He did!

If the dickhead had just asked me I would have given him permission to use the photo.

They could have stuck in a link to this site rather than ripping it off.

Is it submitted by a user or does the site do these handy guides?

I wouldn't mind, but the photos have been copied as is, if you download from their website and then check the properties, you can even see when I took it, and on what camera.

That was my guide. And my photos!

All it would have taken was a quick email and we would have agreed.

I don't know. But judging by the homepage, there's nothing else to suggest that users could submit it.

      Alarustic

Email has gone off to Webfusion now anyway asking them to remove it, lets see how long it takes.

Rather strange, if you go to alarustic.co.uk you get
      Alarustic.co.uk
To buy this domain call 0208 224 3232.
Doing a quick search turned up this -
Russell Hunter : About the website owner
I wonder if it is the same person?

Is it possible to watermark pages of the forum, in particular the Tutorials? This is not the first time forum material has been 'stolen' with no acknowledgement of its source.

Looks like I was too slow, I'll blame a nagging wife
