      Red Dwarf XI is here!

The wait has been almost unbearable, we know. But it's finally over, because Series XI of Red Dwarf has landed. Welcome to the new era!

The first episode of Red Dwarf XI, Twentica, is available to view right now on UKTV Play, the on-demand platform for PC, mobile and selected set-top box services (UK only). The episode will then air next Thursday, 22nd September at 9.00pm on Dave, which can be found in the UK on Freeview, BT and TalkTalk channel 12, Sky 111/246, and Virgin 127/194.

      Den of Geek
have already described Twentica as "an ambitious, great-looking and very funny series opener", while Metro wrote that "it's as ruddy hilarious as its golden days". Following the series premiere, five more episodes of Red Dwarf XI - Samsara, Give and Take, Officer Rimmer, Krysis and Can of Worms - will air on successive Thursdays, with each ep also previewing on UKTV Play a week beforehand.

But that's not all. If you can't wait to show off your Series XI love publicly, then we're delighted to inform you that the official Red Dwarf merchandise store is now open for business! This is the first time we've had a dedicated Dwarf merch outlet in over ten years, so we hope you'll enjoy checking out the fab range of t-shirts, clothing, accessories and other bits and bobs that are available now - and which will continue to be added to in future!

And finally, if you're a regular visitor, then we hope you'll have noticed that things look a little different around here. We've given reddwarf.co.uk a very welcome fresh coat of paint, hopefully making your visit a little cleaner and more intuitive. Feel free to click around and discover (or rediscover!) some of the great content we've got relating to the previous twenty-eight years of Dwarf, but bear with us if you do spot any issues, as we're still making sure everything works behind the scenes!

Don't forget that you can pop along to our chat forum to discuss the new episode, the new goodies or even the new site; and we're also, as ever, open to your comments on Twitter and Facebook.

We hope you enjoy the new series: it's been a long time coming, but once again the slime has truly come home...

Watch Twentica in full on UKTV Play right now!
Comment: Confirmed! Reddwarf XI is available now via Sky's CUTV service. Just use the search feature to find it.

Watching now on sky on my iPad pro
Also noticed that previous series 1-5,7 and 10 of Red Dwarf are also on sky now. Not sure why 6 and 8 are missing. There never was a series 9 if I remember.

Don't believe it, they have added canned laughter as rumoured, ghastly!
