      Netflix says “You seem to be using an unblocker or proxy. Please turn off any of these services and try again.”

      This error occurs when our systems have detected that you are connecting via a VPN, proxy, or “unblocker” service. Because our content library can vary by region and these types of connections are frequently used to bypass geolocation methods, you will not be able to stream when connected in this way.

      • Disable any proxies, VPNs, or other software that might route your Internet traffic outside of your current region.
        • For best results, we also recommend ensuring your device's network settings are set to Automatic.
          • If you need assistance disconnecting from one of these services or returning your connection settings to their defaults, please contact your device manufacturer or internet service provider.

      Out of interest, do you have Sky Broadband Shield turned on?

      With my limited technical knowledge it's the only thing I could think of that might work a bit like a VPN and maybe that is what is confusing Netflix?

      Re: Netflix Trouble

      I've been trying to help @sparky678911 on this and it's getting to be a real PITA.

      Last night he reset the router, swapped out the Netgear first and changed the DNS setting on the Netgear too.

      This evening he spoke with someone in Sky's technical team. They found an issue on the Broadband Shield and fixed it. Previously it had appeared to be off, but something apparently wasn't right.

      He's still having a problem with this.

      The DNS settings on the Amazon box have been changed (as suggested by the guy at Sky).

      At the moment he can't get through to Sky as they've finished for the day (pulling hair out isn't a good idea).

      He's has Netflix's AIP701 (on the Amazon box) & AIP703 (on a Samsung smart TV).

      P.S. Any suggestions are welcome

      Re: Netflix Trouble

      Do not have an Amazon box Myself, but that error gets fixed easily by doing what is mentioned here;

      Load up Netflix and go to the main screen
      On your remote, use the directional arrow keys to enter this combination: Up Up, Down Down, Left Right, Left Right, Up Up, Up Up, Up
      (That's 2 Ups, 2 Downs, Left - Right 2 times, then 5 Ups)
      You should get the following (or similar) dialog popping up, with an option to Deactivate this Netflix device
      Go ahead and do so
      Then just re-enter your Netflix login and password after re-opening the app
      Seen this before and works on a Samsung TV, Bluray and an Amazon fire tv stick.

      This video for an LG TV shows how the deactivate screen looks;

      What does not work. Do you mean the ability to use that remote control procedure and deactivate?

      Ok, its just a deactivation normally helps. More so than just resetting netflix app cache under the settings>applications>managed applications for an amazon device.
      If you had another device, you could try a dectivate on that and your network may then reset.
      Other than that, not sure. Netflix telephone support are excellent by the way 0800 096 8879.

      Have you ever used a vpn in the past or used any netflix vpn method for US or other country content?
      You are aware that Netflix have randomly started blocking IPs that are doing this and not just current active ones.
