Love how we talk about "normal" weather, how many years have humans been on the planet? Not much of a sample size to start using the normal word.

The only thing that's normal is its normally unpredictable, and with GW its getting more so.

Occasionally over the festive period this year when watching tv i've actually started to feel old for the first time.
You know, what with Ed Sheeran, Adele & news of Zac leaving 1 Direction everywhere you look.

Then i pop over to skyuser & find threads all about the weather & feel young again!

      Hello gymno
You know its an Old English (British) custom that almost the first thing they talk about
is the Weather......!! Every time I phone My Parents who live on the south Coast
I get the Full forecast for the previous day & the following Week........

When you go on Holiday & check in at your hotel in Sunny Spain they always tell you
during your stay the weather will be Wonderful ........!! What was it like when you left home.
I have some lovely Irish Friends who tell me it always 'Rains in Ireland ' But its Softer !!!

By the way we are all getting ' Older' The next Time I See Fifty (50) it will be on someone's
      Front Door....................!!!!

      Just a Thought.................

NCIS was oneone of the shows we watched over Christmas via Sky on demand s12' 10 and 8-3 if I remember correctly. A few episodes were missing.
Not watched before, but was similar in its production to h50.
Will def be watching the new series too.
How this passed us by before, just don't know.

Did watch Beowulf earlier on itv today, not good. Felt it was trying to be GOT including the titles and music. It failed if that's where it was aiming.

Admittedly my post did have more than one agenda behind it, however eliciting patronising comments like that wasn't one of them.

My own father is alive & well capable of spouting those pseudo authority asserting speeches thanks.
