UK ISPs ordered to block Xbox and PS gaming sites for those on ESA ISPreview UK - Top Broadband ISP Internet Service Provider Information Site
In order to encourage more people to look for work, the UK Government is asking UK ISPs to block the Microsoft's Xbox live and Sony's Playstation websites for anyone who is claiming the Employment component of ESA.
Details have been provided by the DWP to identify those affected and people should start to notice that the sites can no longer be access during today.
The effect should be complete by the end of the month.
Once the person is no longer claiming the Employment component of ESA they can contact their ISP and the sites will be unblocked once this has been verified by the DWP.
