IPod Touch 4 Software update.(Lost Apps & Music?)
The last time I did a firmware update on my IPod, I lost all my Apps & Music. Fortunately I was able to recover the Software operating system, but was left with a naked iPod.
I do not use synchronising on ITunes as it puts all the crap you don’t want (everything) so I choose to put music on in a manual basis.
Can someone out there explain to me in an idiots guide how I can update my IPod software without losing all my valuable content?

Actually not everyone has an iPod.
There may be a better forum to ask this kind of question on.
Have you looked for a friendly forum that supports iPods?
