I think the problems with the white mesh disks only arose if you actually plugged your sky boxes into them using ethernet.

I have to say I have not experienced any issues with the upgrade and I use BTs white disk mesh system. I also use BT broadband so perhaps this is an issue

Have you tried calling 150 from your landline (assumes Sky is your landline provider, which it presumably is given that Sky is your broadband provider)?
