    • Router Mode ADSL Only, WANOE Only or Auto

The Sky Hub is able to connect to the Internet using either an ADSL connection or an FTTC connection. This setting is set by default to automatically detect which method you are using.

Some members have discovered that it can help to reduce the time the Sky Hub takes to connect by specifying which method you are using. If you change this setting and at a later date upgrade from ADSL to FTTC or downgrade from FTTC to ADSL, please remember to change this setting accordingly.

When connecting via ADSL you will need to use the separate ADSL port and the router will dial up the Sky routers.

FTTC uses the BTO Modem, which is connected to the Sky Hub via an Ethernet cable to one of the 4 ports, to dial the connection. The router then verifies your connection with the Sky servers.
