Relaxing the internet cable
Just flipped my Sky Q router over to get password (bought a new iPad) and the plugs come of the actual cable that plugs into the internet socket. Can someone tell me what cable I need and how do I connect it to phone socket? Took faceplate of and Sky engineers connected it internally
PS I'm hopeless and nervous with stuff like this

Re: Relaxing the internet cable
You should have an Openreach plate, so it should have two sockets, the upper one is an RJ45 for your broadband, and it's an RJ11 to RJ45, like this:

Surprised he hard-wired it.--------------------------------------------------------

Re: Relaxing the internet cable
Got a temporary internet cable last week. One of the IT blokes from work is nipping round tonight and going to crimp plug back on
