      Quick Faceplate Question

I have an XTE2500 on order to replace my master socket in the hallway.

However, I actually want to connect the router to a socket in the dining room. There is no extension there presently.

Would I better off keeping my BT Master plate in the hallway and buying and installing an XTF-68 as an extension instead?

Thanks - being a bit thick, I think
