Media Panel
I live in a new build house (built 2011) which has a XNTE. Unfortunately, my "master" socket is a media panel (see below), and the telephone socket element is very poor.
The media panel is the size of a double socket. Would it be possible to remove this, and replace it would a BT NTE5 and a TV socket? If so, how?
Many thanks in advance
Graeme

Re: Media Panel
Yes, you need a new back box that has two single gangs side by side. Bypass the XNTE with gel crimps and fit an NTE5.

Re: Media Panel
Just curious as to what the unmarked coaxial socket on the media panel is for?

Usually it's to loop the sat signal to another room...
