Missing master socket
Purchased a repo house and the master socket seems to have been removed by the previous owners. Would Openreach or Sky charge for another one?

Re: Missing master socket
Hmmm, I ***think*** you may end up paying for line provision. Only way to be sure is call them up!

Re: Missing master socket
Sky wouldn't charge for New Line Provide.
If there was a line to the property recently and the new line order indicates a remote activation then you need to get the advisor to send a socket request e-form.
If the order requires an engineer visit then you will be asked to choose an install date for an engineer visit.
However Openreach are now doing remote line checks prior to the install date which will revert to a remote activation if it comes back okay.
If this happens then you will need to call Sky, after your text message telling you your visit isn't required, so they can send the socket install e-form.
