      No phone lines to multi-room boxes after new Sky install???

      I had Sky+ HD installed first week of December together with two extra multi-room boxes. However, the could not install the phone till first week of January. I have now found out that i need phone lines to each box and have been told that Sky should have sorted this on install. Well the did not. I had one engineer install the Satellite boxes and never mentioned the hone lines. I then has a phone engineer (not Sky but a contractor) who fitted the phone in and sort of mentioned that the other engineer should of done this?

      Can someone offer advice please?


      Also, does each multi-room box need a filter in place or does it not work this way.

      My understanding is that every box needs a link to a phone line for contractural reasons. If the sky guy was a proper engineer and not just a subcontractor then phone lines cut to length and installed together with a sky phone socket adapter should definitely been installed or the installation cancelled.
