BT socket to Sky+HD Box Wiring
Hi all
I hope this is a simple request.... I have just re-routed (outside the house) the 'phone line connection cable from my BT socket to Sky+HD box in order to neaten up the installation. I am left with a 4 core cable (blue, blue/white, orange, orange/white) needing connectors at each end - BT plug at the BT socket end and an RJ11 at the sky box end.
Please can someone tell me which of the cores to connect to which BT plug pins and which to connect to the RJ11 pins?
Thanks

Re: BT socket to Sky+HD Box Wiring
blue/white and white/blue are the ones normally used.
Pretty sure they go to the middle pins iirc

Blue pair to 2 & 5 on the BT plug (outer two pins) to the centre two pins on the RJ11 plug.
