    This is a discussion on i need help finding this part within the Cabling and faceplate help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Then the only way really is as I said. iirc you should get away with just using the 2 blue/white ...

      iirc you should get away with just using the 2 blue/white wires either end.

      ie Pins 2 and 5

      What you have marked as the Microfilter is NOT. It is a two-way splitter for a standard telephone socket.

      The Microfilter is the item that you have correctly pointed to where the Sky STB & Router connect.

      The two-way splitter should be plugged in where the Sky STB is connected, if you need to plug the telephone in at this point.

      If you just want to replace the faulty adapter, then this is what you want -
      BT Break In Adaptor & Doubler

      Remember no mater where you use this it must be plugged into a filter. Make sure there is a filter plugged in first on all sockets you are using. If you have not been doing this you will find there is an improvement in your broadband.
