      That is looking much better.

Just need to work on reducing the noise margin, if possible.

Try using the shorter grey lead supplied with you router & plugging into the test socket. Then repost your stats.

      Re: New Sky Activation...wiring/connection ?

The results were with the short wire..
Will plugging in to the test socket make much difference ..
The faceplate from the box has no wires connected to it.. which I believe means no extensions.

I have ordered an ADSL faceplate filter and a belkin high speed modem cable 7.6m which I believe is good quality twisted..

      Thanks

      Re: New Sky Activation...wiring/connection ?

There is a possible that the connector in the existing faceplate is worn out. It isn't common, but worth ruling out.

A filtered faceplate would resolve the issue entirely.

Do you have other phone sockets? If you have, it means the phone circuit is incorrectly wired. Have a good look around and make sure there are none hidding away somewhere.

They are the exact speeds they set me at,with a very similar attenuation! You should still have a bit of scope for faster speeds when DLM kicks in during the next few nights.
