What do I have here ?
Just checking that my wiring looks okay. This is the only socket in the house.
Its the usual split faceplate one (NTE5?) there are no connections on the removable section:
If I remove the whole thing from the wall there are two wires connected:
Slightly confused because I thought the orange wire was the bell wire, but as you can see its connected.
Just want everything to be spot on for when I switch over to Sky.

As long as you have no fixed extensions, that's OK. The incoming pair can be any colour, although they are usually blue, it does not really matter what colour they are..

What colour is that other wire? Looks like blue in there to me? In which case you would have a split pair-not good for ADSL. If orange & white/orange no need to worry.
