is this a good alternative to stock filters
i am looking at gettin this filter instead of using the stock one (that i have had for 5 years)

not sure how it compares to the filterd faceplates but it looks quite smart and tidy

Hi I was pointing to Cabling and faceplate help A lot have used http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/cabli...r-members.html and I use a XTE-2005 Master Faceplate. ADSL Nation LTD. I hope you find the links useful.

Hi what you need is a pre-filtered faceplate so you do not need to use filters. So the ADSL and Phone are separate. There is a the moment XTE-2005 Master Faceplate and NTE-2005 Master Faceplate. Link to NTE-2005 ADSL Nation LTD.

Don't even think about that, they are inferior to the 'soap on a rope' type, even the Sky ones. If you want a good plug in filter get one of these-
XF-1e - Professional Microfilter - adslnation.com
A filtered faceplate is the best solution, but remember you have to plug the router into it, your extensions will be dead as far as ADSL is concerned.

I have one of these and have not had a problem with it in nearly five years

i thought u said they were not as good as the 'soap on a roap' ones
