      Re: Best wiring option?

Well I got a filtered faceplate and wired my only extension where my router plugs in to the A and B terminals.
I take it you want to use the extension for your router? If so you may find that there is not a lot difference. The filtered faceplate works best when you are plugged into it, all you are doing really is avoiding the use of a filter at the master faceplate. If you want to plug your router into the extension you may need to use a plug in filter. You may get a result using a dial up modem cable, the same as used in the Sky digibox, but it is not guaranteed. You should not use a phone on the same extension without a filter.

If you want a phone on that extension too use this socket. If you only want to plug in the router use this adaptor or this socket.
