Can you not cut the external drop cable outside and fit an external junction box and then just rewire from that in one run to the master socket?

I wouldn't go playing outside TBH, if you end up with a line fault an Openreach engineer will not be too happy that you fitted your own external JB. Playing with internal wiring when you really shouldn't is one thing, but fitting external boxes and/or playing in DP's that serve others may get someones back up!!

Re: Master Socket and Junction Box Issue

I think I'll just stick with original plan of extending internal line by few metres via a 2nd Junction Box, I am in a flat and the house has been recently rendered and the two telephone cables that enter property I do not know which goes to mine as both are right beside each other underneath the rendering. Cheers anyway
