Sky don't have engineers - they have fitters.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4297 kbps 860 kbps
Line Attenuation 57 db 37 db
Noise Margin 6 db 6 db

I don't really understand the stats - is this a good quality line as it does not seem to be quite as reliable and my speed has dropped slightly since my upstairs socket is in use.

Also, if I bought a filtered faceplate that would mean that the upstairs socket would not affect my broadband speed at all ? Plus I would not need a filter upstairs anymore ?

If you fitted a filtered faceplate the other socket wouldnt affect the speed at all it would be totally isolated from the ADSL and you wouldnt need a filter on it.
That said your getting a pretty good speed for your attenuation!
