Will rewiring help?
According to http://samknows.com I am 1733m away from my exchange. But I am signed up for Sky Unlimited 20MB broadband and only getting about 5.30MB (6.30MB on a good day). Does being 1733m away from the exchange cause my speeds to be this low??
Heres my router stats (Same when from test socket too):
Downstream: 6141 kbps
Upstream: 798 kbps
Line Attenuation
Downstream: 42.0 db
Upstream: 23.8 db
Noise Margin
Downstream: 6.4 db
Upstream: 15.8 db
Would rewiring the box make my speed significantly faster?

Re: Will rewiring help?
Do you have an NTE5? The simple answer if you do is to try the modem/router in there, whatever you get in the test socket is all you can achieve, no amount of changing internal wiring will better this result(providing the wiring internally has been done correctly-check all extensions go dead when in the test socket).

Re: Will rewiring help?
I cannot see the point in posting this, you have been through it all before in this thread.-

Although Samknows says you are 1733m from the exchange your actual line length could be 2-3 times times that.
