quality alternative to basic router adsl cable?

      Hi

A while back i decided i wanted a better (screened) cable alternative, to the grey (rj11) one that comes with the sky router. I bought some bits from maplins to make my own up, but basically made a pigs ear of it. So are there any high quality screened, and very short cables out there i can buy?. When i say short, the router is no more than 30cm from the master bt socket.

      thanks
      joe

PM me with what you want, and I will make you one. I use a pair from an old CAT5 cable and it will work just fine. Please say if you will be connecting this to a filter faceplate

To be honest, if you are only a foot from the master socket, the quality of the cable will make no difference. Anything less than about 2 m, you will have to have made up for you. RunitDirect would be able to supply what you want.

The cable is in pretty close proximity to a mains extension cable, phone mains cable, and a homeplug - not sure how much noise these things send out.

Re: quality alternative to basic router adsl cable?

I use the ADSL Nation RJ11 Pro+ range an 11 meter cable and I find it better than the normal supplied cable and have not had any probs with it, would recommend them.
