First get them to increase your upstream speed you should see the 600Kbps
Tell them that you want the downstream speed increased if they say that is all it can take say you want it increased anyway, then repost the stats once done. You should see 7 to 8Mb.

ok i did it and he tried to set it to 7meg but it only went to 6.4 and he sed it was unstable and that if i left it at that it would cause a build up of errors so its now at 6 meg then i moved the router back up stairs now its at 5.8 meg my stats are :-

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 5856 kbps 608 kbps
Line Attenuation 45.0 db 28.5 db
Noise Margin 7.1 db 14.0 db

Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time

      WLAN 11M/54M 16985 12838 0 3571 550 01:18:54

these stats are not form the tester socket

Probably a good idea to re-post in your original thread. It may well be right that he is saying no. It all depends on your stats and without them being posted here, I cannot comment.

Try adding your post to your original thread.

From those stats you are getting the fastest downstream you can get, you could try the test socket click on link below for details.
