      My latest stats are
      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 4992 kbps 768 kbps
      Line Attenuation 59.0 db 31.5 db
      Noise Margin 7.4 db 8.0 db

      It is really weird how a can achieve decent speeds with this attenuation.

      Well its quite straight forward; your attenuation is not 59db and the router Attenuation fig is wrong.

      Hmm.
      Any way of seeing the correct one?

      And another thing is when sky done tests the data they received from BT stated I can only achieve 3.5 meg so thats why he increased the speed to see if the line will hold. Bt have obviously got it wrong and I wonder why I can get better speeds

      Dont worry about it, but it is prob about 50db, nice increase in upload speed
