Without the sky tv extensions and telephone plugged in just the router cable.
And
the back of the master filter. The connector to the left slides into the test socket behind the master socket so no wires are actually connected straight into the master socket.
Yeah I don't know why my stats are as bad and my upload speed so bad
cheers

I think that the adaptor in the front has an extension wired into it and those wires are for that.

Re: Need advice on my socket!
Your stats are o.k with your line attenuation, but you could have a word with Sky about the upload, however I would leave well alone and wait for DLM.

Re: Need advice on my socket!
What do your stats say now? With your last stats that speed is just about impossible.

Re: Need advice on my socket!
The ring wire only comes into play when you have an ADSL signal in the same cable as this wire. With a filtered faceplate this is never the case if wired correctly so removing the ring wire will achieve nothing.(The ADSL signal is seperated at source so the cable with the ring wire(the filtered connections)is isolated from the ADSL signal.
