      BT NTE5 ADSL Centralised Filter

      We will soon be offering an alternative to the Pressac BT ADSL filters that we currently sell(NTE2000/NTE2005).

      These will be the same that others are selling, however, here is the choice!

      Would users prefer IDC or screw terminals?

      Personally i think the screw terminals, as some people would be more confident connecting them by screw.

      Screw terminals work loose - IDC is better.

      Screw terminals offer a number of possible things to go wrong including ham fisted wielding of the screwdriver ending in over tightening and stripping of screws or damaging of screw heads. IDC is simpler and harder to get wrong in my view.

      I agree the IDC version.

      I just bought a proper IDC tool - LOL

      IDC is simpler and harder to get wrong in my view.
      When you have the proper tool and don't try to use a screw driver, like someone I know

      Interesting that this mishap seems to have had some positive results.
