Postage on a faceplate is 3.99, people seem to think we only have to pay for a stamp, there is a bit more to it than that i am afraid. Of course we could offer "free" postage & make it up elsewhere.

Re: ADSL Faceplate Filters - SkyUser Reviews

No it's 3.99+VAT which is 4.59 unless you are VAT registered and can claim it back...

I presume this: BT ADSL Faceplate for NTE5, 6 Way Version(NTE2005)

      and This: ADSL Nation LTD.

Are the same, being Pressac NTE5?

10.49 delivered from ADSL Nation (no discount code used)

      19.85 from yourself?

Just looking for the best deal...

Haven't a clue i am afraid as they state theirs is modified which ours is not.

      Sub Total 13.27
      Shipping 3.99
      Discount 1.73
      VAT at 15% 2.33
      Total 17.86

If you want the cheapest then i'd go to eBay. If you want fast service with excellent FREE technical back up & advice then the cheapest may not be the best. We will never be the cheapest as i have stated numerous times before.

I have a standard BT ADSL V 1.0 face plate fitted, would I find any benefit from changing to one of the reviewed Faceplate's?

      Thanks
Could someone please point the way to Altair-4

Compare the difference in stats between the faceplate and the Test socket. If there is a significant increase in the speed/noise margin in the Test socket, it will be worth changing. If there is not a lot, or it is the same, don't bother.

Re: ADSL Faceplate Filters - SkyUser Reviews

Ok, ordered yesterday @ 2pm - Received 3 emails, order acknowledgment, order processing & order dispatched..

      Arrived this morning before 9am!

      Ordered the following:

      ADSL Nation LTD.

      and

      ADSL Nation LTD.

Can confirm that this faceplate IS identical to the NTE2005 sold elsewhere for much more!! Also comes with BT Openreach branded instructions...

      Pic of mine:

      No doubting it's the same...

      Anyway - Cost...

      NTE-2005 Economy Master Faceplate 7.82
      Pro+ RJ11 ADSL2+ 1m (white) 2.97
      P&P 1.31
      VAT 1.81

      Total 13.91

With hindsight, the RJ11 lead was prob overkill... But at that price......

Fitted and working in 5 mins, only a couple of hundred K improvement on down speed, but I was only expecting that much, as already connected at the master socket - Bonus for me is no more unsightly filters hanging out of sockets!

I can highly recommend ADSL Nation for fantastic service, lightning fast delivery and very reasonable prices, both for goods and P&P

The Pressac one we reviewed is the same afaik as a BT one, (but cannot confirm as we don't have one available) but a newer version, they all perform similar from our experience.

Pressac make the ones for BT-if it has ADSL V1.0 on the front it is made by Pressac & will come with BT Openreach branded instructions.
