Just upgraded to Broadband Max
I've just upgraded to Broadband Max.
My connection speed has halved. I understand that it will take up to 10 days to settle down.
The phone wiring is my house is OLD, the incoming phone cables seem to pass through what looks like two fuses, Or some sort of ceramic isolation point.
I have here a new master socket, is now a good time to change it? While sky is trying to calculate my best speed?
Or will it make no difference?

Yes! Fit the new master socket while the training is still ongoing. Officially speaking you are not supposed to but we seem to sell a fair few NTE5's!

Re: Just upgraded to Broadband Max
What was your speed before? I don't think it is usual for the speed to half on a move from Mid to Max. If you intend doing re-wiring work, better do it now before your line training completes. Post your present stats and a copy of your old ones if you have them.
