      Third party telecomms engineers

      Hi

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a company or whatever that could come and sort out my internal wiring problems. My line has to be capped at 512 kB when tests say that it can handle 3mbps and I suffer from frequent connection drop-outs and its an absolute nightmare when two people try to use the internet at the same time.

I've been through troubleshooting multiple times with sky and have had my problem scaled up to with bt and everything on the outside is fine. Considering that I'm not very skilled with tweaking the cabling myself I think the best bet would be to hire an engineer.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks

If you feel that you cannot handle this yourself then check yellow pages/local newspaper for some one who does computer work, they may be able to help or know someone who can.

Approx. how old is you master socket/wiring? DIY really isn't hard(it wouldn't really be feasible for us to come and do a job that small i'm afraid). Do you plug into the master socket or an extension socket? A filtered faceplate along with a BT NTE2000 extension kits works wonders!!
