Suddenly a Sky engineer can repair my BT line?

My Ticket has suddenly be escalated to what seems to be a high department. The CST say they will send an engineer round to fix my BT line. I wanted tio know why i have never heard of this? I think they are contracted BT open world guys working for Sky?

They probably contacted BT to arrange an engineer to be sent out.

Just to make everything correct, it's an Openreach engineer working on behalf of Sky that will carry out the repair.

Drops out when the phone rings or if the phone is used? Could be a filter problem.

If you have tried the test socket and swapped microfilters... Then Sky have to escalate it to BT to fix it as there is more than likely a problem with the PSTN, in which case BT are the only people who can do this! =)

I had this fixed since may. Turned out to be problems with the pairs.
