      Internal Cabling Setup

Hi All! I'm a newbie here lol
need a bit of help with sorting out the phone line. Currently have my bb router in my room with a telephone cable leading from here to the front room, and then a RJ11 BB cable from there to the 1st filter and socket. I'm thinking that the normal telephone cable is slowingdown the connection to the dsl cable in the other room, so if i get shot of the phone line cable and the shorted BB cable in the other room and replace it with one longer BB cable this should help my cause? But can the BB cable handle normal telephone line signals ie talking on the phone etc?

      thanks

OK best thing to do is move the router to the master socket
leave it conected there using the standard RJ11 cable.

and get yourself a Ethernet cable and run it from the router
      to your PC.
