      Re: Bad service from ADSLNation.com .... :(

I really dont know what to say, As there are many reasons why an item can get delayed in the post.

However iirc, ADSLNation.com have a user on SkyUser, So im sure when this thread gets seen by him, He will respond accordingly if he hasnt recieved/seen the emails.

Also, Though it may be tempting, Dont post your address/account numbers over the forum, As this really isnt safe - But im sure you already know this.

It is a shame, but I don't think they have done anything wrong. It sure is frustrating.

Did they send it via recorded delivery or any other method that has a tracking number?

      Hi

Sorry to hear of your problems, ADSLNation were spot on when I ordered the item.

Maybe just a case of held up in the post.

Darren is a member here, and I have forwarded him this URL

In all fairness to ADSLNation though, I really don't think this is the place to take this issue up. Hope you get sorted soon.

Thanks for your supportive replies guys.

The person on the phone said the item (it was faceplate, rj11 cable and punch tool) was sent as normal post.

So no tracking / proof / receipt

      Hi Ali

I'm sorry that you feel that way, I received an email from you at 14:06 today and the reason you have not had a reply is because about an hour later you phoned. I'm sure you would agree that having spoken to you on the phone there would be no point in repeating myself in an email. I'm disappointed that you felt the need to try and discredit us in a public forum in what appears to be the moment you got off the phone.

We suggested that you contact your local delivery office to see if they were holding a package for you as sometimes the postal worker neglects to leave a card informing you that a package is being held especially if the delivery person is a temporary agency worker. You were advised that there was nothing further that could be done at this point as the Royal Mail do not consider an item lost until 14 days after an item was sent. seeing as how your order was sent on the evening of the 22nd there is still a very good chance that the order will arrive soon (now day 5). At no time did you express to us that you were unhappy about that, but instead decided to come to this forum to publicly chastise us.

We send small items via RoyalMail post to keep the cost of delivery for you down at 3 for delivery for the 3 items you ordered that that fairly reflects the actual cost to send a packet containing a heavy 10m cable, in fact it probably cost us more than we charged to you. I'm surprised that you expect a premium next day signed for delivery service to be used at this sort of price.

We are a small company that tries to do the best for our customers and on the whole has a good reputation.

      Re: Bad service from ADSLNation.com .... :(

To be fair, I think it is royal mail who say normal post can't be reported as lost until 14 days has past. After that point you or the sender (I think) can proceed with a claim.

The last time I thought a delivery had gone missing (not from ADSLNation) I found it a week later in the back garden where the postman had thrown it over the fence, but not left feft a note to say so!

Our forum address is ADSL Nation • Index page and can be accessed from the support section of our site or if you go to the products section and look at the details of a product a link is given on the product information to the appropriate part of the forum. For example if you look at the product page on the XTE-2005 there is a link on the right hand side to the filters section on our forum.
