Well the way I see it is this
Customer has 10 Micorfilters all have been tried.
Customer has a Pre-filtered face plate which is the same result.
Customer also has tried the test socket, no extension leads etc etc.
Customer also has also tried a different Sky router but no difference.

There is 2 viabale options that I can see.

1: Faulty wiring in the home
2: TPS needs at least tried at least then it will be ruled out as a suspect.

      Re: Going bald slowly......

      1) How can it be faulty wiring at the BT test point, there are only 2 incoming wires being used and I've changed the main BT socket for a brand new one from a BT engineer, so that rules that one out.

      2) Dont understand the 2nd question, its needs re-writing but I think your saying that TPS who ever they are or what ever TPS is needs to do what they need to do but I presume thats not been done as yet.

This is taking an age and starting to **** me off.

      Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [GB/GB]: 1,37 / 1,89
      Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12,5 / 1,0
      Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 14,5 / 28,5
      SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 14,0 / 20,0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / GSPN

      Re: Going bald slowly......

Following this tread with interest, can't see how a TPS will resolve a noisy line problem unless there is a duff port on the DSLAM.
Have BT been out to the house and checked out the line with a TDR?
