    master socket help?

      master socket help?

      how can i tell, if my A and B wires on the back of my master socket are the correct way round? (yes i know its bt's domain) i just want to know if there correct, or doesnt it matter?

      I don't think it matters, but BT usually connect White from the drop cable (or white/blue) to A and Orange (or blue/white) to B. It is all here if you need further details:-

      From the instructions I had it does not matter what terminal you use for which wire when there are only 2.

      ^^^ I think you are probably right but its better to have them connected as BT would in case you get a fault and they try to charge you for tampering with their wiring.
