BT and Removing Uneeded Wires
Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows how BT would go about this:
While ago i removed the uneeded wires in my sockets, and gained myself an extra 2.3Meg, and all has been fine but recently there has been a bit of noise on the line, now the question is if we call BT and they send someone out and they check the sockets and realise the wires are out, what will they do? Will they try and blame it on that and charge us for a un needed callout, or can i play dumb and act like i have no idea about anything and i havent touched the socket?
Thanks in advance

Re: BT and Removing Uneeded Wires
So long as you have only touched the removable half of the NTE master socket, then they would not say anything because that removable cover is for customers to add extra extensions and the micro-filters take over the job of the ring wires, the simple answer to the question is no, so long as you haven't gone behind the master socket you will be fine.
