Filler or Putty - what to fill the hole with
Hi guys
Had Sky+ installed on Sunday. What is the best product to put into the hole where the cable enters the house. Want to fill around the cable to keep crawly things and drafts out.
Thought about some brown flexible filler but then wondered if there was anything better for the job.
TIA

Flexible, preferably silicone based, mastic is the only way to go these days, it's waterproof and, well, flexible. £1 for a "general purpose" tube in Wilkinsons - I bought one earlier this morning to touch up around the bath edging. Putty will dry out and shrink while the mastic should be good for years to come. If it's a question of matching a drilled hole, sweep up some of the brick/wood/whatever dust/debris and splodge (that's a technical term) it over before the mastic sets.

As above, get some silicon sealant to seal the hole and then a 'hole' cover to make it look tidy
