Filtering twice due to alarm panel

      Hi,

I am looking at fitting an ADSL faceplate but have a question about the filtering process. We have an alarm which is hard wired into the slave socket in our bedroom but has an ADSL filter built into the alarm panel itself.

If i fit a faceplate over the master and then connect up the filtered wires to the slave socket, then i guess im essentially putting two filters in the path of the alarm line.

Does anyone know whether that will cause me any problems? Worse case i could get the alarm company (adt) to remove thier internal filter?

      Thanks

      Leon

Double filtering won't cause you any problems.
