Visually checking the type of extension wiring ??
Hi all,
Is there an easy way of determing whether my "hard wired" extension uses "alam wire" or the proper twisted pair stuff ?

Alarm wire is usually RED, GREEN, BLACK & YELLOW and the wires are not twisted around each other. Proper CW1308 telephone cable has a blue with white stripes, white with blue stripes pair twisted together and an orange with white stripes and white with orange stripes pair twisted together.
