    1. Virgin Media Twitter Team

      by , 02-10-12 at 08:36 PM
      It was nice to see the VM Twitter Team having a bit of banter on Twitter today rather than being all corporate.

      It started with this;

      I think, for the sake of clarity, @adam_pope should probably say waiting for a "Virgin media engineer", rather than "Virgin engineer"
      Their reply,

      @lgladdy Hmm, all our engineers are very experienced, and I'm sure its not their first time ^MKa
      My reply,

      @virginmedia @lgladdy pmsl VM do

      It's just like marmite, you either like it or you absolutely hate it.

      Tonight the new song for charity was shown, originally done by David Bowie, Heroes, is this year's song choice.

      Without soundling like a wimp, that's the first song on TV that has ever brought a tear to my eye.

      No matter what people say, those who are in the Armed Forces are complete heroes, and I totally respect you all, each and every one of you, for making the UK a safer place for ...

      Thanks in advance!

    4. SkyUser orders 2 x New Servers

      by , 02-12-07 at 05:00 PM
      Today we have ordered 2 brand spanking new servers for use on the SkyUser websites.

      Specifications are:

      PE860 - Xeon Quad Core 2.40Ghz 2x4MB Cache

      Compared to the older specifications on the 2 servers we are replacing these are far more powerful and the end user experience should far exceed what we offer at the moment.

      Work starts to transfer all the data and ...
    5. Lack of

      I don't easily get wound up, but managed to do it this morning....

      I ordered Crysis on the 13th November 2007 from them at a cost of 26.99.

      Having placed the order I rang them to make sure everything was OK and that it would be despatched asap. As the game is released on 16th November and me being an avid gamer I wanted to make sure that I would have it in time.

      Yes, Sir, everything is fine, your order has been accepted and it should be posted ...
