      No Connection ---- Force Connection

      Hi,
After installing and running Sky Netgear Box, I notice it disconnects and when trying to connect to the internet, via wireless or network cable, I have to force the Netgear box to connect several times

If I leave a computer on (wireless) the connection stays alive, no dropouts

My old Linksys router had a setting for keeping router connected, if line drops reconnect after a few seconds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Welcome to the forum

I'd recommend one of two options:
      • determine and resolve the route cause
      • treat the symptoms

To do the first you need to provide a lot more information e.g. your normal router stats, what the noise margin is when you get these problems, how you are connected to the router etc.

The second might be handled, depending on the cause, with Mossywell's router utility which will automatically reconnect your router if the connection drops (note that's the connection between router and exchange not router and laptop/PC).
