      Can you shed any light on this - router rebooted and running for approx 2 hrs, for 1st hour and half - CRCS - 4, LOS - 4, but now for some unknown reason in the last 15 mins , CRCS - 79 , LOS 0 and previous 15 mins - CRCS - 1463 and LOS 2 . Could the router be faulty ? have thought about buying a new router but then donot know if could extract the detailed stats out of it, any advice appreciated

      House detached so not affected by anything neighbours may have done

      There are so many reasons why the error levels will change from hour to hour. The most obvious two are:
      • you were using the connection more i.e. more data = more errors
      • your noise margin changed i.e. less margin = more errors


      Whatever the reason, a faulty router must be one of the least likely.
