      Re: sky broadband dropping out

      Welcome to the forum

You will find this is a very common problem and there are literally hundreds of posts on the forum covering this. To summarise (this is obviously not a rule but an indication of likelihood):

      * Regular, disconnections (typically every 15 min) = UPnP bug
      * Regular, disconnections often at set times of day (typically evenings) = dropping noise margin
      * Irregular, random (can be very frequent or ad hoc disconnections) = cable fault, other noise burst or overheating/faulty router

Rather than repeat all the information, a read of this thread plus maybe this for background should sort you out. If you can't sort it out or have other queries, please post again with your router connection stats.
