File sharing over network with netgear router

      Hi Guys,

I have a problem, and just wondered if anyone else has encountered it.
I have set up a local network, and when i attempt to transfer large files over the wireless network, after about a minute it looses connection.
I then have to unplug the wireless adaptor (WG111T) and plug it back in for it to connect again.
It is fine while i am surfing the net, or downloading from the net, just when i try to transfer files from PC to PC i have the problem.

      Anyone else had this problem?

Perhaps I am misunderstanding but I share my files across the network in a shared folder and then can open or drag them from one pc to one of two laptops, and then save them for backup, I just mapped the drives from the PC to the others and made each pc /notebook a user with admin rights.

I have shared the root drives on the PC's, so can access all files. It is just when i try to drag and drop that the connection dies after a while

Overheating? Or could be a problem with the wireless driver/card in 1 of the computers. I had a card which wouldn't connect properly to wireless and when transfering large files it died. Fix for me was to use a cable.
