      Home Hub Router ??

I know they say anything is possible i read somewhere that a techy guy in the UK unlocked the BT home hub to work with other isp's just wondered if anyone here has heard about this or whether they feel it could be a worthwhile challenge. Cant remember where i read it now or i would post the link. I have a brand new one that my mate gave me when he left BT. Never been used if any of you techies are up for the challenge i am willing to donate it as a guinea pig.

Hi Pejay, yes, it can be done. There are a number of examples out there, however, BT does not condone this action and it does invalidate the warranty & breaches BT's T&C's.

      Thanks Cyrus.

Yes i understand there would possibly be breaches. The particular router i am talking about is technically in cyberspace at the moment and as far as i am aware belongs to nobody, However i am not out too p*** BT off or rock anyone's boat i would rather leave the discussion where it is than do that but i just wondered thats all you what people say about curiosity and cats lol.
