      DG843GT flash files

I accidententaly posted this request in the open forum, it should have appeared here.

Does any body know of an aternate site to recover the DG834GT flash files from. vishal provided 2 locations, Yousendit and Rapidshare, Yousendit does not appear to hold the file anymore and Rapidshare free downloads delivers invalid credits for each attempt!

      Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure which files you mean?

The Sky DG843GT firmware can be found on the CD that came with your router.

Current (and past?) Netgear DG843GT firmware can be found on their site.

Or do you mean something else?

I think what st. john is refering to is the fact that the main firmware page on netgear's web site only has the firmware image files on them (the img files) which are installed via the web browser. However, the firmware upgrade of the sky router requires the tools such as rmdrv.exe and updatewizard.exe, which vishal got from rapidshare. Not sure why, because the said tools are indeed available from netgear's own site here:

Obviously I was being lazy in my use of language when I said firmware. Next time I'll be sure to say "firmware images and the required utilities"

The files you helpfully provided a link to are sitting on the Sky CD in a folder called "DG834 Recovery Utility" and as you say can be found on Netgear's site.

Clearly, it is me that is the lazy one as I didn't check the CD. In fact, I'm not sure I've even opened it. The though of more bloatware disgusising itself as antivirus software was enough to put me off!
