      Save the cfg file and open with a text editor such as word and it will then show you your sky login details...

      Again all thanks to Jose.
      Hi,
      I did that but I only see the Modem Stats info.
      There is nothing in the text with login info unless I have made a mistake again?

      John,

      The URL to enter into your browser, once you have logged into the router normally using admin / sky, is below:-

      http://192.168.0.1/setup.cgi?todo=pi...ww/netgear.cfg {slightly different to your post Ysmalari}

      You will get an error message; ignore it.
      Then enter http://192.168.0.1/netgear.cfg into your browser and save the .cfg file that you get back.
      Look in that file using, say notepad and you will see something similar to that below:-

      pppoa_username=xxxxxxxxxx@skydsl {your username}
      pppoa_password=xxxxxxxxxx {your password}
      pppoa_idle=
      pppoa_ipaddr=

      All of this is explained in the "URL Injection" section of Jose's instructions, please read them fully.

      John,
      Great news!
      Yep! If you insert that info into the relevant area of your old router then you're away.
      Good luck.

      I wondered that. No word back from John of Manchester....pity, it's always nice to know when things turn out fine.

      Johnny7; I know a John living in High Wycombe. He works for a well know communication company. Would that be you by any chance?
