      new router

I was looking at getting a new router to replace my current netgear router that sky gave me, its the white one that does the job I checked the router so I couldnt give you any model name as it doenst have one

I would say this is the one I have

NETGEAR DG834G 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL Firewall Router Wireless router - EN, Fast EN, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g

I am after a router that have wireless n and is gigbit aswell but also I need one to work well with the sky setup, I use my current router for streaming a lot of hd movies and music etc and after a day of use the wireless signal cuts out most of the time now I just use wired to connect.

anyone any ideas, I would be happy with netgear again just wanted to know what everyone uses. thanks

You are probably experiencing interference from another network. Download and use Inssider from the link below to discover the networks in use in your area. Change the channel on your router to one as far as possible from those in use as possible. Channel 13 often gives good results.

If you want Wireless N, then the cheapest option would be to get one of these and connect it to your existing router - TP-Link TL-WR841ND Wireless N Router Atheros: Computers & Accessories
