      It appears you are on Connect, which would account for the problems you are having, especially at peak times.

      I think your problem is a combination of being on Connect and using wireless. You can improve the wireless aspect by downloading InSSider from the link below and using it to discover the Channels in use in your area. Set your router channel to one as far from those in use as possible. Channel 13 is often clear.

      As for Connect, have a look at this thread and the many others complaining of the Connect package.
